The sixth year of the Orange County Economic Summit and TechMatch, this annual gathering gives us a scale to understand the region’s economy and highlight the thriving business community, expanding industries and all the growth possibilities in Central Florida. Among similar cities it’s size, Orlando remains a leader in job creation and economic growth.

The Orange County Economic Summit and TechMatch has shown that tech in Central Floria is growing. A credentialed/degreed talent pipeline is essential to economic success, since 2010 Florida’s labor demand in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) fields has increased by more than 63%. Currently, there are more than 55,000 unfilled STEM jobs in Florida.
